Stop prodding and poking with needles in attempt to remove a splinter. First try letting some all purpose glue dry over the spot. Then, with any luck, the splinter will be plucked from the skin as the dry glue is peeled away.
Got a splinter? Wipe the area with all-purpose, nontoxic glue. When it dries, pull it off and the splinter will come out with it. All better!
